  1. Most of the icons on this CD use IDer as their default tool. IDer identifies the type of the file and uses the program specified in its configuration file to show that file.

  3. This preferences program allows you to edit the default configuration supplied with the CD and to alter the programs used for each file type.

  5. This is all you really need for programs on this CD, but if you would like to know more about IDer, the documentation is in CUCD:CDSupport/IDer.
